Belief Statement

“The Bible, the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, and are the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.”

God

There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Er is één God, Schepper van alle dingen, oneindig volmaakt en eeuwig bestaand in drie manifestaties: Vader, Zoon en Heilige Geest.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.

Jezus Christus is waarachtig God en waarachtig mens, ontvangen door de Heilige Geest en geboren uit de maagd Maria. Hij stierf aan het kruis, het volledige en laatste offer voor onze zonden, volgens de Schrift. Bovendien is Hij lichamelijk opgestaan uit de doden en opgevaren naar de hemel, waar Hij, aan de rechterhand van de Majesteit in de hoge, nu onze Hogepriester en Voorspraak is.

The Holy Spirit

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service. Man – Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

De bediening van de Heilige Geest is om de Heer Jezus Christus te verheerlijken en in dit tijdperk mensen van zonde te overtuigen, de gelovige zondaar te wederbaren, in de gelovige te wonen, hem te leiden, te onderwijzen en te bekrachtigen voor een godvruchtig leven en dienst. De mens – De mens is geschapen naar Gods beeld, maar viel in zonde en is daardoor verloren. Alleen door wedergeboorte door de Heilige Geest kunnen verlossing en geestelijk leven worden verkregen.

Salvation

The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. The Return of Jesus Christ – The personal, pre-millennial, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

Het vergoten bloed van Jezus Christus en Zijn opstanding vormen de enige grond voor rechtvaardiging en verlossing voor allen die geloven, en alleen zij die Jezus Christus door geloof aannemen, worden geboren uit de Heilige Geest en worden zo kinderen van God. De wederkomst van Jezus Christus – De persoonlijke, premillennialistische en aanstaande wederkomst van onze Heer Jezus Christus is onze hoop en heeft een essentiële invloed op het persoonlijke leven en de dienst van de gelovige.

Future Events

There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.

Er zal een lichamelijke opstanding zijn van alle doden; van de gelovigen tot eeuwige gelukzaligheid en vreugde met de Heer, en van de ongelovigen tot oordeel en eeuwige bewuste straf.

The Church

The true Church or 'the formation of the Bride of Christ' composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head 'The heavenly Brideroom'.

De ware Kerk bestaat allen die zich laten ' vormen tot de Bruid van Christus' uit al die mensen die door het reddende geloof in Jezus Christus wedergeboren zijn door de Heilige Geest en verenigd zijn in het lichaam van Christus, waarvan Hij het hoofd is ' Onze Hemelse Bruidegom'.

Baptism and Communion

Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior in the name of  'The Lord Jesus Christ' , is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord’s Supper is a memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.

De waterdoop door onderdompeling, kort na het aanvaarden van Christus als persoonlijke Verlosser in de naam van 'De Heer Jezus Christus', is een getuigenis van de dood aan de zonde en de opstanding tot een nieuw leven. Het Avondmaal is een herdenkingsdienst die op heilige en symbolische wijze de dood van de Heer Jezus Christus in herinnering brengt; alle ware gelovigen en alleen gelovigen zouden hieraan moeten deelnemen.
