Wie zijn wij
Wij zijn een levendige en dynamische 'Pinkstergemeente' .
In juli 2020 is er in de stad Groningen een outreach ontstaan vanuit de Fire of God ministries met als doel om mensen tot het geloof te brengen en tot discipelen te maken . De outreach ontstond vanwege de Corona crisis en kerken dicht waren.
Deze outreach groeide uit tot een kleine jonge gemeente waardoor na onze eerste vergadering in februari 2021 werd besloten om de outreach voort te zetten per 1 maart 2021 als een Pinkstergemeente met de naam 'Bethel'.

De Nederlandse ‘ Bethel’ pinksterbeweging vind zijn oorsprong in voormalig Nederlands Indië, nu Indonesië. Wij werken nog steeds samen met verschillende 'Pinkster' organisaties in Indonesië.
Who we are
We are a vibrant and dynamic Pentecostal church.
In July 2020, an outreach program was established in the city of Groningen through the Fire of God ministries, with the goal of bringing people to faith and making disciples. The outreach was initiated due to the coronavirus crisis and the closure of churches.
This outreach grew into a small, young church, and after our first meeting in February 2021, we decided to continue the outreach as a Pentecostal church, named Bethel, effective March 1, 2021.
' BETHEL'
The Dutch Bethel Pentecostal movement originated in the former Dutch East Indies, now Indonesia. We continue to collaborate with various Pentecostal organizations in Indonesia.

Pastor Teunis en Sherly leiden onze gemeente in Groningen. Ze hebben een passie om Jezus Christus te verkondigen en Zijn goed nieuws van 'REDDING', 'GENEZING' en 'BEVRIJDING'. Samen dienen ze Jezus in het binnen- en buitenland. Ze hebben een hart om nieuwe leiders te trainen, dat ze o.a. vanuit de part-time bijbelschool doen.
Pastor Teunis & first lady Sherly Dekker
Pastor Teunis and Sherly lead our church in Groningen. They have a passion to proclaim Jesus Christ and His good news of SALVATION, HEALING, and DELIVERANCE. Together they serve Jesus at home and abroad. They have a heart for training new leaders, which they do partly through their part-time Bible school.

Groningen en de wereld voor Jezus!
Onze droom is om onze rol te spelen in het winnen van Groningen en de wereld voor Christus. Dat is onze missie. We beschouwen ons als een invloedrijke kerk in Groningen met een apostolische en profetische roeping voor Noord-Nederland, Europa en de landen van de wereld.
Elke leider wil weten hoe hij zijn kerk kan laten groeien. Maar groei is meer dan strategie. We hebben een volledig ontwikkelde visie nodig voor discipelschap, opvoeding en missie en een nieuw patroon voor het kerkelijk leven in de 21e eeuw. Voor ons in de Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship wordt alles wat we waarderen verdedigd in de celvisie die we nu hebben. Jarenlang hebben wij als Fire of God Ministries hoge waarde gehecht aan voorbede, geestelijke gaven, geestelijke strijd, kerkgroei, evangelisatie, zending, training en mobilisatie. Al deze aspecten komen effectief tot uiting in de celvisie die we van over de hele wereld hebben overgenomen en ontwikkeld. Het dynamische leven van de kerk vindt nu plaats via de cellen. De celgroepen zijn een hulpmiddel om dat te bereiken, geen middel op zich.

Our dream is to play our part in winning Groningen and the world for Christ. That’s our mission. We consider that the Lord has mandated us as a church of influence in Groningen with an apostolic and prophetic call for the North of the Netherlands, Europe and the nations of the world.
Every leader wants to know how to make their church grow. But growth is more than strategy. We need a fully developed vision for discipleship, nurture and mission and a new pattern for church life in the 21st Century. For us in the Bethel Pentecostal Fellowship everything we value is championed in the cell vision we now have. For years we as Fire of God Ministries have placed a high value on intercession, spiritual gifts, spiritual warfare, church growth, evangelism, missions, training and mobilisation. All these aspects are being effectively expressed in the cell vision we have adopted and developed from all over the world. The dynamic life of the church now takes place through the cells. The cell groups are a tool to accomplish that and not a means in itself.
